Get Your Meilin and Roselle for FREE!

You read that correctly! We're now offering Meilin Chen and Roselle Vergerius for Free!
We’ve seen the feedback and heard your pleas and now we’re ready to give you what you want! For the first time you will be able to create both a Meilin Chen and Roselle Vergerius character for free. Yes, free! We've successfully implemented the latest patch to Rusty Hearts, which brought with it a new Winter event, new costumes, and some fixes to some outstanding bugs. We really appreciate the patience and the continued support that the community has shown to us. It was a lot to endure and we're extremely grateful that you've all stuck around when times got rough.
As a tremendous THANK YOU, we've unlocked Meilin Chen and Roselle Vergerius! Both of these characters are now FREE to play! If you haven't had the chance to play as these two lovely ladies, now is the perfect time to start fresh. Take a look at what these ladies have to offer:
Meilin Chen:
Weapons:
Gauntlet:
The young nomadic Kung Fu master has traveled the land far and wide seeking peace and tranquility and only one thing stands in her way, Vlad. Meilin’s gauntlet is one of the fastest attacks available to the Golden Seal team. She is able to uppercut enemies into the air and kill them twice before they hit the ground. Her Gauntlet is an extremely short range weapon, but her speed and agility are vital in keeping her alive. Like Tude, Meilin doesn’t need magic or sorcery to overcome her enemies, pure skill works just fine.
Claw:
Adapt or die, that’s the motto Meilin lives by. While the claw is a bit unusual for a Kung Fu master, she manages to find a way to overcome enemies by improvising. Her precision and skill allow her to wield the glove of razor death with ease and speed. Despite being slower and much bulkier than the gauntlet, the claw has the ability to charge up even its most basic attack in order to unleash a flurry of strikes against all foes. As with the gauntlet, the claw abilities favor close combat strikes and charging attacks over fancy spells.
Roselle Vergerius:
Weapons:
Axe:
Very few would suspect a slender alleged “vampiress” would brandish a massive axe, but Roselle has proven to be quite proficient. Her speed and agility with this brutish weapon are unsurpassed by her foes. Roselle’s spinning attacks make crowd control a cinch and perfect in tight situations.
Sword:
While skilled in axe weaponry, swordplay is where Roselle stands out. Years of practice and duels have prepared Roselle for any sword battle. With pinpoint lunging attacks distant enemies don’t have a chance against her. Roselle’s sword carries the perfect balance of speed and damage and is effective in almost any situation.

Edit: The avatars for these ladies are still in the RH cash shop, however we will be removing them shortly as they are free.

*READ* I haven't play this game in years i fcked up with some people and now i coming back to play but there one thing i need to tell PWI and i know there reading this comment! I was playing Elsword right they a update every 1 week for new stuff that made the game funner i come back to here right and the best u can do is make two char free and mom free. DUDE ur updates for that take two hours long and this game i play u can install on a new computer and it only takes a hour and a half to instal the whole game! HINT of advice do more than winter costumes and 2x exp. Please make ur updates that u do which are very litte take less than me installing a whole new game will u. This is the one main reason i quited this game for half a year. PS i played this game when it first came out i am not so impress with the updates over 6 months. When i play this game there better be some update i missed cause its taking me more than ur 2 hour update usally. I know i get alot of dislikes on this comment prob even kick out of the game. But i do this to help the creators i mean u have a great game i s why i coming back but ur updates that are suppose to help can rly get people pissed off at you. Please for some ppl who may be like me add something rly cool like a new set of cloths each mounth or a new weapon or maybe u can add another char to the classes don't have three chars like the gloves and guns person. Some some adivce that will help u guys at RUSTY HEARTS. In all my reguards i wish u luck :D

i've seen plenty games where you'll pay $50 for the "new" character and the one that came out right before it becomes a regular choice. sometimes it's better to cool your heels and wait a bit. :D

I'm rather surprised people are complaining about this, to a degree - the people who paid money for these characters (Myself included - Hell, I bought the bundle for Meilin) paid for early access to these characters. We paid to fund additional content. So what if the characters themselves are free now? It's just a skin with a slightly different animation rig. The costumes still need to be bought. That's the main seller for games like this, costumes. I'm more happy that the game is still running. We're the cause of that, the paying customers, but that's nothing to get smug about.

Because some people bought them before, you are playing this game for free because of that people who helps with money, dumbass. You are useless and they give you free chars, can't understand PWE logic.

@saphirechaos...If you feel some real sense of betrayal in your life over a character skin in a video game then that is a sign that you have no real life or you take things way to seriously.

if you really read my post youd see i said i didnt think it was personally a big deal it is however a betrayal of trust to their customers. I work for my money if i buy something be it real or in a video game witht the understanding it will be exclusive then i expect it to stay that way.

I bought Mei and they gave no indication this would be a temporarily exclusive item. It was indicated the only way to get it was to buy it. No it is not ok to suddenly change that, it's a betrayal to those that bought it thinking it to be exclusive. Do i think it is a big deal? No. Do i care much if they compensate me for my mei? It would be nice but not especially. It is still a betrayal to their customers and that is abad way to get repeat customers.
